A Letter to a Hindu is one of the most famous literary works of Leo Tolstoy. It is a written letter wherein Tolstoy stated that the Indian people can free themselves from the British colony through the principle of love. It was a letter answer the other two that was sent by Das, seeking support from him in order for them to attain their independence from the British colonial rule. The letter was requested by the famous Mohandas Gandhi to be reprinted due to its great and touching influence.
