Another famous and influential dialogue of Plato is the Ion. Ion is a rhapsode whom Plato questioned the skills and knowledge. Ion lectures on Homer and admits being bored by all other poets. Plato believed that Ion does not really have the skills but is under a divine possession which makes him able to speak like a soothsayer or a prophet. Ion is among Plato’s shorter but greatly influential dialogues in his time. It earned him so many audiences.
